As Division Manager, Mike Ress has been in the low voltage industry since 1999. He holds an ASEE degree in Electrical Technologies, which has provided him with a strong foundation in electronics. He started working in the low voltage industry as a technician, and gained experience by actually installing and servicing systems. He holds over a dozen factory certifications in fire alarm, card access, nurse call, and video surveillance systems. In addition, he holds a NICET (National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technologies) Level 4 Certification for Fire Alarm. This certification is the highest obtainable level. It is the industry’s nationally recognized method of measuring an individual’s overall knowledge of systems and code, as well as management skills. His comprehensive understanding of low voltage systems and expertise in the industry, serves as a cornerstone for H&H Fire and Security.
